Visiting DIGG on a daily basis has become one of the most pleasurable routines of my day.
But lately though, the thrill is starting to wane...
The problem began a few days ago, when I opened up Outlook and noticed a bunch of e-mails from DIGG users sending me some "Shout Outs"...
Cool, I thought. Maybe someone liked one of the articles that I had submitted and wanted to comment on something...

When I clicked on the link, logged in to DIGG, I was once again rudely made aware of the pervasive nature of SPAM on the web!
People were now using DIGG 'Shouts' as a method of getting you to click on or DIGG their 'celebrity-related' websites. In return, they would click on your submitted article if you a sent a 'Shout' back.

How annoying!
I fear that if this practise continues it will probably lead to the ultimate demise of DIGG.
People will either become annoyed to the point of cancelling their DIGG accounts or word will spread quickly not to trust the DIGG numbers that are associated with articles or blogs ...
Let's not allow this to happen...
Please spread the word and let's keep DIGG free from SPAM and SPAMMERS alike!
