Last night watching late night TV, I was astounded at what I heard.
John Stewart (the voice of reason) in the US media calvacade mentioned something that was unprecedented in this realm of public infotainment.
While interviewing Chris Mathews (Host of the political talkshow HardBall on NBC) and discussing Mathews' new book (Life's a Campaign), Stewart kept attacking the 'basic strategies' of the book as being "a recipe for sadness"
When Mathews had had enough, he asked Stewart "are you scared of this book?" to which Stewart replied, "No, I'm not scared of this book ... I'm scared of Fascism!"
